Davidson Galleries is pleased to present the third solo exhibition of Seattle-area artist Eunice Kim. New Collagraph Monoprints will showcase most recent works from the artist's ongoing Tessellation series, exploring patterns and relationships, theme and variation, intersection of structure and chance, and the interplay between individual and collective. Kim is widely recognized for her unique approach to the collagraph, in which she employs sustainable, nontoxic processes of her own, to produce singular monoprints that are informed by cultural, personal, and formative experiences.

The artist has been exhibited extensively nationally and abroad. Most recently, she represented the United States at the prestigious International Print Triennial in Krakow, Poland (2012) and Vienna, Austria (2013). Kim is a recipient of numerous accolades, including 4Culture Individual Artist Projects Grant, Flemish Ministry of Culture Artist Residency Award, Kala Art Institute Fellowship Award, and The Puffin Foundation Artist Grant. Her work is found in public, corporate, and private collections worldwide.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Eunice Kim will present an Artist Talk co-hosted by Davidson Galleries and Seattle Print Arts.
